For: Chair, Board of Commissioners, Cabarrus County, NC 30 October 2024 <br />Clerk to the Board of Commissioners <br />Re: Letter of Recommendation of Erin Shoe as Member for the Human Services Advisory <br />Board <br />1. 1 nominate Erin Shoe, MPH, and recommend her for immediate appointment as a <br />citizen member of the Human Services Advisory Board. She will fill an existing vacant <br />position on the 5-member board. <br />2. Erin Shoe is highly qualified to serve on the board given: <br />a. Her credentials as the current Public Health director for Cabarrus County. <br />b. Her extensive community involvement in various county task forces. <br />c. Her areas of interest and skills in access to care for the unlunder insured, <br />community collaboration, and community resilience. <br />3. Erin Shoe will bring great experience and skills to our advisory board enhancing our <br />mission to advocate, advise, and consult with the Combined Human Services <br />Agency. <br />3C' C`Y <br />Angel L.
