MINUTES <br />SUPERVISORS MEETING <br />CABARRUS SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT <br />MEETING NO. 119: <br />TIME: February 3, 1972 <br />PLACE: District Office <br />From: 7:00 P.M. to 8:05 P.M. <br />PRESENT: S. A joint meeting of the District Supervisors and Watershed Commissioners <br />was called to order by the new Chairman, S. W. Colerider, Jr. (Opening <br />prayer was by The Reverend Howard Allred). <br />2. The January minutes were ammended to show Mr. S. I. Parker, elected <br />and Mr. L. D. Coltrane, III and Mr. S. W. Colerider, Jr., appointed. <br />The January minutes were approved as ammended. <br />3. Chairman's Report: <br />a. A Census Bureau form was given to W. H. Cato to fill out <br />and mail. <br />b. A list of new officers of the Board and their committee <br />preference was made as requested by Mr. W. A. McLeod. <br />C. Chairman Colerider asked that all present committees continue <br />to serve. <br />d. Chairman Colerider announced and read part of the statement <br />from the Past,President of the N. C. District Supervisors <br />Association (Mr. Blair Goodson) naming Mr. S. I. Parker <br />as outstanding Soil and Water Conservation Supervisor of <br />North Carolina for the year 1971. <br />e. A full report of the State Supervisors meeting was made. <br />Taking part in this report was L. D. Coltrane, III, S. I. <br />Parker, J. L. Patterson, S. W. Colerider Jr., W. H. Cato <br />and W. E. Cook.kugii Price, District Conservationist, also <br />attended the State meeting. <br />4. Treasurer's Report: <br />a. 1-1-72 NET CASH IN BANK $3112.02 <br />1-5-72 Paid for printing checks $ 2.34 <br />2-1-72 NET CASH IN BANK 3109.68 <br />$3112.02 $3112 <br />
