Howard Allred <br />1. A joint meeting of the District Supervisors and Watershed Commissioners <br />was called to order. Chairman Colerider asked that Mr. L. D. Coltrane <br />have prayer. <br />2. Minutes of the FEBRUARY meeting were approved. <br />p <br />3. Chairmants Report: <br />a. Chairman Colerider welcomed Mr. Bellard, Mr. Smith and Mr. McLeod <br />to the District meeting. He asked for comments from our Visitors. <br />The Cabarrus District was proud of the favorable comments made. <br />b. The Census Bureau form was completed and mailed February 9, 1972. <br />C. Chairman Colerider reported that the AREA VIII (which now includes <br />the Cabarrus District) Spring meeting will be held in Cleveland <br />County March 28, 1972 beginning at 9:30 X.M. and ending approximately <br />at 3:15 P.M. <br />d. Chairman Colerider reported that an RC&D meeting will be held at the <br />District office Monday, March 13, 1972 at 2:00 P.M. officials of <br />local groups working with Council of Governments are to attend the <br />meeting. <br />e. Chairman Colerider and W. H. Cato gave a program on Conservation <br />to the Colonial Dames organization during February. <br />
