Chairman Patterson welcomed Mr. Cato back to the meetings. Mr. <br />Cato began work with the District on February 6, 1978. He will be <br />preparing material and giving the local radio programs each week. <br />It was unanimously agreed and requested by the District that Mr. <br />Cato help, when available, with the various educational programs <br />sponsored by the District. <br />B The Area VIII Spring meeting will be held on Thursday, March 2, 1978 <br />at the Western Steer Family Steak House in Lincolnton, N. C. <br />Registration will begin at 1:30 P.M. Cost of registration, meal, <br />tips and coffee hour will be $5.00 per person. Approximately 10 <br />are expected to attend from the Cabarrus District. <br />C. Chairman Patterson announced that expiration date for S. w. Colerider, <br />Associate Supervisors was in January, 1978. <br />A motion was made, seconded and unanimously passed to re-appoint Mr. <br />Colerider as an Associate Supervisor for another three year term. <br />D. Chairman Patterson asked if there were any names to be submitted as <br />prospective Associate Supervisors. <br />Mr. Paul Bowles was recommended. Rev. Hogan and W. H. Cato will <br />visit with Mr. Bowles to explain the District program and determine <br />if he will consent to serve as an Associate Supervisor. <br />E. Deadline filing date for District Supervisors for a four year term <br />will be July 7, 1978 at 12:00 noon. <br />
