<br /> to the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners for a license to operate a public dance hall. The
<br /> followin9 information {s hereby submitted as required by the law;

<br /> (1) Cecil William Cooper,Route 1, Indian Trail, North Carolina and been a resident of the state
<br /> of North Carolina for approximately for the past 20 years.
<br /> (2) The address of the dance hall, if §ranted, will be Midland, North Carolina.
<br /> (3) The name of the owner of the premises upon which the dance hall will be operated is Will iWide~ouse
<br /> Midland, N.C.
<br /> (h) The undersi§ned intends to carry on the business himself and under his immediate
<br /> supervision and direction.
<br /> (5) That the applicant has never been indicated and convicted for violatins any of the

<br /> RESOLUTION OF REPSECT
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, William Archie Brown sas Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners of Cabarets
<br /> County, North Carolina for a number of years and was active in the civic affairs of th~ county
<br /> durins the whole of his active life, and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the members of the Board of County Commissioners of Cabarrus County, North Carolina
<br /> appreciate the value of the unselfish service which he rendered while a member of the Board of
<br /> Commissioners:
<br />
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, Be it resolved by the Board of Commissioners of Cabarrus County, North
<br /> Ca~lina, that they do hereby express their appreciation for every service which was rendred by
<br /> William Archie Brown, for his devotion to duty, for his self denial, for his practical analysis
<br /> of the questions which it became his duty to decide, for his firmness, his fairness and the
<br /> favors which he did for his fellowmen. He was unique in his character, equally honest with all
<br /> whom he met, and he excelled in many virtues.
<br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution be entered upon the minutes of this Board and
<br /> that copies of the same be sent to the members of Mt. Brown's family.
