The Cabarrus County Commissioners met at their regular meeting Tuesday, <br /> <br />September 7, 1965, at lO:00 a.m. in the Courthouse. <br /> <br />Present: Chairman, Cf Frank James <br /> Commissioners, Oren Hill, McNeil Petrea, Frank McCray, Smoot Lyles <br /> <br /> Meeting called to order by Chairman James. Minutes of last meeting stand <br /> <br />approved. <br /> <br /> Belk's Department Store was awarded the bid for Sheriff's uniforms. The <br /> <br />O.K. Lunch was awarded the bid for meals for prismnmrs~. Whitaker Tire was awarded bid for Tires, Tubes, Recapping, and Batteries. <br /> <br />Mutual Oil Co. was awarded bid for #2 fuel oil for county. <br /> <br /> Mr. Beeker of Mt Pleasant Jaycees requested approval of commissioners to <br /> <br />use an emergency volunteer vehicle in Mt. Pleasant. This vehicle would be <br />operated out of the volunteer fire depts. Commissioners agreed this would have <br />to meet with C & MAmbulance Service's approval and he would be notified at a <br />later date. <br /> <br /> Mr. Goines, of Charlotte Motor Speedway, Charles Haley, Cabarrus Twin City <br />Speedway, and L.
