Mr. Amos said in Mr. Morton's application, it says repair of autos and motorcycles and then it says sale of cycle and parts and accessories, does that indicate that he is going to be selling cycles rather than just parts? Mr. Downs stated that if he has cycles that he has repaired or rebuilt, he can sell one or two. As long as the repair service is the major part of the business, he can do this as an accessory, but he cannot have a motorcycle sales lot. Mr. Morton said they will not be Selling new motorcycles at all and probably not many used ones. Chairperson Randall asked Mr. Morton if he understood that this cannot be his main operation. If this permit is granted, the repair of automobileS and motorcycles will be his principle use. She asked if he also understOod that the staff recommends that he pave the driveway essentially from the pavement to the edge of the right-of-way. Mr. Morton said he does not understand how far. Chairperson Randall said up to where his parking area is would be her assumption. Mr. Downs stated to the board that the Planning and Zoning Department has received a letter from the property owners to the rear of Mr. Morton saying that they have no problem with the proposed use. The department also received a telephone call from Ms. Snyder saying that she was very pleased and hoped that Mr. Morton's permit is granted. Mr. Amos asked Mr. Morton what kind of screening is he planning on providing.
