<br />TYPE OF ADJUSTMENT: Supplemental Request
<br />PURPOSE OF REQUEST: To appropriate General Assembly supplemental Home and
<br />Community Care Block Grant (HCCBG) funding for fiscal year 2005 of $25,695.00
<br />as provided through N. C . Division of Aging and Adult Services. The HCCBG
<br />funding plan requires a 10 percent local county match of $2,854.00. The
<br />Cabarrus County HCCBG Steering Committee approved a proposal to increase the
<br />Senior Center Operations of $2,705.00 and In-Home Services of $2,700.00.
<br />Additional funding of programs and services will enhance our current programs
<br />and expand services offered to the Cabarrus County residents.

<br />(F-10) Consent Agreement with Shiloh Ridge Development, LLC for the Meridian
<br />Subdivision
<br />
<br />Shiloh Ridge Development, LLC, is developing Meridian Subdivision
<br />consisting of 16 single family lots on approximately 8.90 acres in Township 2
<br />on Roberta Road. The developer has agreed to enter into a Consent Agreement
<br />with the County and donate $1,008.00 per lot to advance the adequacy of
<br />public schools. The Concord Planning and Zoning Commission granted
<br />preliminary plat approval at its October 19, 2004 meeting.

<br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carpenter, seconded by Commissioner Privette
<br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved the Consent Agreement between
<br />Cabarrus County and Shiloh Ridge Development, LLC, for the Meridian
<br />Subdivision, including the payment of $1,008.00 per lot to advance school
<br />adequacy with payment to be made at the issuance of building permitting.
<br />Further, the Board authorized the County Manager to execute the Consent
<br />Agreement on behalf of Cabarrus County, subj ect to revisions by the County
<br />Attorney.

<br />(F-ll) Consent Agreement with Richard Goodman for the Richard Goodman
<br />Subdivision
<br />
<br />Richard Goodman is developing Richard Goodman Subdivision consisting of
<br />64 single family lots on approximately 20.75 acres in Township 2 near the
<br />intersection of Roberta Road and pitts School Road. The developer has agreed
<br />to enter into a Consent Agreement with the County and donate $1,008.00 per
<br />lot to advance the adequacy of public schools. The Concord Planning and
<br />Zoning Commission granted preliminary plat approval at its October 19, 2004
<br />meeting.
