Procedures <br />All nominations are to be made using the form provided herein and be delivered to the following address not <br />later than September 1. <br />NCASWCD Employee of Year Award <br />c/o Dick Fowler <br />Soil & Water Conservation <br />1614 Mail Service Center <br />Raleigh, NC27699 -1614 <br />Entries should be typed, but handwritten entries will be accepted if neat and legible. All materials submitted <br />must be in one report cover or 3 -ring standard binder for 8 1/2" x 11" paper. Supporting materials are <br />accepted only for the preceding year. Nominations should include: <br />• Completed nomination form (attached) <br />• Nominator's cover letter addressed to the NCASWCD President <br />• 1 -2 page narrative <br />• 1 -3 letters of support <br />• 1 -3 pages of supporting materials such as pictures, newspaper articles, <br />newsletter, etc. <br />Judging Criteria: <br />The Association, with assistance from the Division, will select a date and place for the judging and select a <br />three member judging team. Judging team members will be persons familiar with soil and water conservation <br />and related duties. The nominee's official job description may be requested by the contest coordinator prior to <br />the judging for clarification. All judges' decisions are final. <br />Winners will be notified of selection unless otherwise specified in the nomination package. Nominations will be <br />returned to the person making the nomination within one year of the judging. <br />Awards: <br />Winners will be presented a plaque during the Association's Annual Statewide Meeting. <br />2 <br />Attachment number 1 \n <br />C -2 Page 37 <br />
