3. That municipal and county planners encourage developers to grant <br />un- fragmented, permanent conservation easements to Cabarrus SWCD <br />to protect riparian /wetland /wildlife habitat buffers surrounding <br />the natural areas and waterbodies; <br />4. That city and county planners encourage developers to incorporate <br />low impact development measures and other best practices; and <br />5. That city and county planners encourage developers to work with <br />designers on projects that result in Wildlife Friendly <br />Development certification by the NC Wildlife Resources <br />Commission. <br />6. That the county and municipalities join with Cabarrus Soil and <br />Water Conservation District in applying for grant funding from <br />the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission to update local <br />land use plans and ordinances to incorporate green growth tools. <br />Adopted this 18th day of June, 2015. <br />_ - vu u ;*- (?04.090 <br />Vicky P.
