Section 3 <br />d. The Cabarrus Water and Sewer Authority controls the system accumulating and treating <br />wastewater. This includes wastewater treatment for municipalities within the County, <br />management of the Mt. Pleasant Water Treatment Plan and the Coddle Creek Reservoir. <br />e. Maintain and make available equipment to support emergency response and recovery, as <br />available. Authority equipment includes: <br />o Dump trucks <br />o Excavator <br />o Trucks <br />o 6 larger generators <br />f. Advise the Emergency Management Coordinator on the status of the water supply, water <br />storage areas, and treatment facilities. <br />g. If needed, provide a Liaison Officer to the County EOC for the duration of the emergency. <br />Cardinal Innovations Healthcare Solutions (formerly Piedmont Behavioral Health) <br />Cardinal Innovations Healthcare Solutions is the regional mental health care management <br />authority that coordinates mental health care for Cabarrus, Mecklenburg, Davidson, Rowan, <br />Stanly, Union, Alamance, Caswell, Franklin, Granville, Halifax, Vance, Warren, Orange, Person, <br />and Chatham Counties. <br />a. Provide assistance in the form of linking County residents with the correct service provider. <br />b. During shelter operations, the ARC makes the determination on whether mental health <br />services are needed and Cardinal Innovations links the individual to a service provider. <br />Cooperative Extension <br />a.
