3) Facilitation of Shelter Resident Reunification <br />• Upon registration, assist shelter residents with missing family members or <br />friends. Record information pertaining to missing persons. <br />• Coordinate within shelter to determine if missing parties are already present <br />within the existing shelter. <br />• Coordinate with other shelters to determine if missing parties self - presented <br />at other shelters. <br />• Coordinate with law enforcement personnel to broadcast information <br />regarding missing parties. <br />• Use ARC Shelter Resident Reunification Checklist and coordinate with the <br />ARC for support and information sharing concerning missing persons. <br />4) Provision of Dormitory and Housing Services <br />• Deploy dormitory/housing equipment (cots, blankets, pillows, other comfort <br />items, etc.) to dormitory/housing space within shelter. <br />+ Identify and support shelter residents with dormitory/housing needs and assist <br />as needed. <br />• Provide public information, including situational updates to affected <br />populations. Include a time line for returning to their homes, if available. <br />• Coordinate and integrate outside mass care /emergency assistance resources in <br />local operations as determined by need or identified resource gaps. <br />5) Provision of Food and Beverage Services <br />• Use kitchen area to provide food and beverage services for shelter residents. <br />• Public Health guidelines must be adhered to at all times during shelter <br />operations for food and beverage services. <br />• If kitchen area is not available, contact a feeding provider (nongovernmental <br />organization [NGO], feeding /catering vendor). <br />• Deploy kitchen or catering services, including staff required to support this <br />operation during the emergency. <br />• Coordinate with feeding providers for kitchen sites and support resources if <br />any gaps are identified. <br />Cabarrus County EOP — Annex L — Shelter and Mass Care <br />F -6 <br />Attachment n 12 <br />Page 271 <br />
