NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that as permitted by N.C. Gen. Stat. §122C- 251(g), this plan <br />for transportation of involuntary commitment respondents between CMHA facilities by G4S is hereby <br />adopted. Such plan shall include a memorandum of understanding between the County and CMHA for <br />provision of these services at no charge to the County, as well as a contract between CMHA and G4S. <br />That contract shall provide for full compliance with N.C. Gen. Stat. §122C -251, for insurance coverage in <br />amounts acceptable to CMHA and the County and for indemnification of the County and the Sheriff's <br />Office. Neither the adoption of the plan nor the designation of G4S as the private agency provider is, or <br />shall be construed as, creating any agency or other relationship between the County, the Sheriff's Office <br />and G4S. <br />Adopted this 21 day of April, 2014. <br />Elizabeth F.
