1.6 TRAINING <br />1.6.1 Training <br />Motorola Responsibilities: <br />• Subscriber training is not part of the scope of this project <br />• Provide course list for training options on subscribers <br />Customer Responsibilities: <br />• None <br />Completion Criteria: <br />• None <br />1.7 SUBSCRIBER VEHICLE INSTALLATION <br />1.7.1 Install Mobile Units - CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY <br />Motorola Responsibilities: <br />• Vehicle subscribers will be programmed prior to installation by the customer as they are installed <br />at MSS location. <br />Customer Responsibilities: <br />• All mobile units will be installed in vehicles by Customer in accordance with the following <br />guidelines: <br />— A "one -time per year" programming charge is included in the project price. <br />— Installations utilize the standard mobile mounting hardware provided with the type of unit. <br />— Obtain main power leads from a voltage source as supplied in the mobiles. <br />— Permanently mount the antennas on each vehicle according to the approved prototype, <br />appropriate for the vehicle type. Install the antennas close to the same location as the existing <br />antennas, where practical, in vehicles that already have antennas installed. Install the antennas <br />on the roof, where practical, on the new antenna installations. <br />— Motorola will determine an alternative location whenever the antennas cannot be installed on <br />the roof. <br />— Plug the old antenna hole with an appropriate rubber plug if the antenna requires a new <br />location on the vehicle. <br />— Remove the existing mobiles from the vehicles at the time of installation of new radios. <br />• Provide adequate number of vehicles for installations according to the project /installation <br />schedule. <br />• If any installations require variations from the approved plan, Customer must receive approval <br />from Motorola, before proceeding with the variance. <br />Completion Criteria: <br />• All subscribers are programmed and installed successfully. <br />Cabarrus County Sheriff's Department <br />Subscribers As A Service <br />© Motorola Solutions Confidential Restricted <br />Use or disclosure of this proposal is subject <br />to the restrictions on the cover page. <br />Attachment number 1 <br />Statement of Work 1 -5 <br />G -2 Page 348 <br />
