ARTICLE VIII (Cont.) Section 8. Duties of the Property Committee The Property Committee shall consider all matters relating to property acquisition, maintenance, expansion, construction and similar matters. The Committee shall investigate and administer all approved activities relating to the above matters and make recommendations for the same to the entire Commission. Review and make recommendations of Matching Incentive Grant applications. Section 9. Program Committee The Program Committee shall consist of three or more members of the Commission. Section 10. Duties of the Program Committee The Program Committee shall consider and make recommendations relating to programs or related matters. The Committee shall report its actions or any policy recommendations at any meeting of the Commission. Section 11. Special Committees Special Committees may be appointed at any time it is deemed necessary and desirable during any regular or special meeting of the Commission. Any Special Committee so established shall continue to exist until the duties for which it was created are completed or until dissolved by the Chairman. ARTICLE IX Section 1. Honorary Commissioners Honorary Commissionership may be bestowed upon individuals in recognition and honor of the individual's demonstrated interest and efforts on behalf of the Commission and its activities. Section 2. Privileizes of Honorary Commissioners An Honorary Commissioner shall have the same privilege as a regular commissioner except he or she shall have no voting privileges. ARTICLE X Vacancy and Removal Section 1. Vacancy In the event a vacancy occurs in the membership of the Commission, the Nominating Committee shall review and consider possible candidates to fill the vacancy in keeping with the appointment policy of the Council of 10 H -3 Attachment number 2 Page 168
