Compliance and Reporting: <br />• Responsible for compliance monitoring based on program, federal and state <br />requirements. <br />• Develop and implement and annual compliance schedule that includes activities and <br />dates for monitoring (including file reviews). <br />Ensure that information is entered into the State systems (i.e. Workforce Plus and <br />AR4CA) in accordance with program requirements. <br />• Monitors program participant files (case notes, goal plan documentation, eligibility <br />determination etc.) to ensure that they are accurate and complete and in compliance <br />with contract requirements and submits the results and recommendations to the <br />Director of Youth and Family Services. <br />• Prepares and submits monthly and annual reports to the Director of Youth and Family <br />Services. <br />• Recommend and conduct staff training on contract and /or program requirements. <br />• Attend and document monitoring reviews or visits related to community services block <br />grant and workforce investment act funds. <br />• Develop and monitor plan for corrective actions that may result from monitoring visits <br />or reviews. <br />• Achieve performance targets as outlined by the Director of Youth and Family Services. <br />• Other compliance and reporting related duties as assigned. <br />Outreach /Community Engagement: <br />• Manage consistent outreach campaigns and organizing efforts to increase the number <br />of program participants in Cabarrus and Rowan counties for Career and Education <br />Training and Family Services. <br />• Develop and implement a grassroots outreach /marketing efforts. <br />• Recruit and maintain adult mentors to meet the 12 -month requirements of the <br />workforce investment act. <br />• Under the direction of the Director of Youth and Family Services, develops a strategy to <br />engage and support families in youth activities. <br />• Assists in identifying and developing key strategic community partnerships. <br />• - Prepare memorandums of understanding for key partners. <br />• Achieve performance targets as outlined by the Director of Youth and Family Services. <br />• Other outreach related duties as assigned. <br />KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: <br />Knowledge and experience in working with federally funded programs and contracts. <br />Ability to prepare contract performance reports that related to both financial and <br />performance data. <br />Must possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills, be very detail oriented, have <br />strong organizational and time management skills. <br />November 2012 <br />Attachment number 2 <br />G -2 Page 342 <br />
