The site consists of
cleared fields, pasture lands and forest. There is an old quarry pond on -site that is
approximately 10 acres with a small detention /water quality pond upland of the pond to
preserve the pristine water quality of the spring fed quarry pond. Use this space to describe any clean up actions
that are needed.
In the past, the portion of the site where the pond is located served as a rock quarry. The
quarry has been abandoned for more than 30 years and the quarry has naturally filled with
water creating the current pond. Currently the rest of the site is being used as a pasture for
cows with forest covering other unused portions.
Attachment number 1
F -3 Page 110
