b. As necessary, prepare vehicles and equipment for operations in snow and ice. <br />c. Prepare EMS facilities for severe weather. As necessary, pre- position personnel <br />and equipment at other facilities to decrease response time during storms. <br />d. Assist Transportation Department in providing transportation for individuals <br />needing routine medical transport to the hospital or medical services (dialysis, shelters, etc.) <br />e. Provide medical support to any Red Cross shelters that are opened. <br />f. Track personnel overtime hours, supply purchases, equipment purchased or rented, <br />and equipment usage for use on county Public Assistance claims. <br />4. General Services <br />a. Prepare for continuous operations within the department; alert all personnel for <br />additional duty. <br />b. As necessary, prepare vehicles and equipment for operations in snow and ice. <br />c. Prepare county facilities for severe weather. As necessary, preposition supplies, <br />vehicles, and equipment for response operations. <br />d. Pre -stock necessary supplies and equipment to conduct response operations during <br />severe inclement weather. Designate storage areas in county facilities and monitor condition of <br />these supplies. If warning time is sufficient, obtain additional supplies to ensure there are <br />sufficient quantities available for operations and repairs. <br />e. Conduct ice, snow, or debris removal at county government facilities. Prepare a <br />priority list for service to these facilities. Develop a roster of contractors that can provide <br />additional support in removing snow, ice, and debris. Employ those contractors to support GSA <br />response missions when tasks exceed ability to handle them with assigned personnel and <br />equipment. <br />f. As needed, provide emergency repairs to county government facilities to permit <br />continued safe operations at the site. <br />g. As needed, provide emergency repairs to any Red Cross shelters that are opened. <br />h. Track personnel overtime hours, supply purchases, equipment purchased or rented, <br />and equipment usage for use on county Public Assistance claims. <br />5. Transportation Department <br />a.
