Cabarrus County Zoning Ordinance <br />Chapter 2 -Rules of Construction and Definitions <br />either on the Effective Date of this Ordinance or us a ie=�)uIL UI arIy LO LII.� <br />Ordinance. <br />NONCONFORMING LOT- A lot which was lawfully created prior to the adoption of this <br />Ordinance but which does not conform to the dimensional requirements for lots in its zoning <br />district as set forth in this Ordinance. <br />NONCONFORMING USE - A use of land that: <br />1. Legally existed before its current zoning or land use category designation; and <br />2. Has been maintained continuously since the time the applicable regui <br />governing the land changed; and <br />Because of subsequent changes, does not conform to the provisi- <br />Ordinance now governing such land. <br />NURSERY - A place where plants are i _;ed, <br />sale. <br />NURSERY, DAYCARE CEO <br />instruction or care on a r <br />or marriage to, and who <br />red, and maintained for transplanting or <br />ual, agency, or organization providing pre - school <br />more than five children who are not related by blood <br />31 wards or foster children of the supervising adult. <br />OFFICE, PROFESSIONAL -'A place where a particular kind of business is transacted or a service <br />is supplied, excluding retailing, further described as follows: <br />1. A place which a function, such as consulting, record keeping or clerical <br />work, is performed, or <br />2.
