The university also strives to work with other <br />educational institutions to ensure congruence with PreK 12 and community college systems. <br />Woodson University wants to ensure all individuals are endowed with the work to career capabilities. <br />Organization and Management <br />The organization of this company is composed of the president, provost, vice presidents, and a <br />Board of Trustees. The legal structure of this university is a nonprofit corporation as governed by the <br />State of North Carolina and is a recognized by the Internal Revenue Service for 501c3 corporation. <br />Woodson University has been authorized by the State of North Carolina to conduct academic <br />degree activity. <br />Dr. A.L. Fleming serves as president and chief executive officer. He has several years of <br />experience in higher education administration in the areas of admissions, financial aid, academic <br />degree development, fund development, and fiscal affairs. He holds bachelors of political science, <br />masters of educational management, doctorate of humane letters. <br />In addition there are several business professionals and companies who have donated their <br />services to assist in the development of the university and ensure its capacity to manage projects of this <br />magnitude.
