Cabarrus County Zoning Ordinance <br />Chapter 8- Conditional Uses <br />that County government is meeting its responsibility +rf providing for the general health, <br />safety and welfare of the residents of Cabarrus County. <br />Section 8 -4 Conditional Uses <br />1. Adult Use <br />General Commercial district <br />a. Site plan should show all surrounding land uses within 500 feet of the proposed <br />site boundary lines. <br />b. All windows, doors, openings, entries, etc. for all adult uses shall be so located, <br />covered, screened or otherwise treated so that views into the interior of the <br />establishment are not possible. <br />c. No adult use shall be established within three thousand (3,000) feet of the <br />proposed s+te oronert- boundary from the following: <br />• Any residentially zoned land <br />• Religious institutions <br />• Schools, parks, playgrounds, libraries or other areas where minors regularly <br />congregate <br />• Another adult use <br />2. Airport, Commercial <br />General Commercial, Limited Industrial and General Industrial districts <br />a. A diagram depicting the layout of runways, taxiways, approach zones and overrun <br />areas. These diagrams should also be on aerial photographs that show } the - aFea <br />+R a five mile radius ef-the proposed site. <br />b. A description of the number and type of aircraft proposed to be stored including <br />the storage areas for aircraft, fuel and motor vehicles, and service areas for <br />aircraft. <br />c. A listing of the land uses within the final approach zones of the airport. <br />d. Documentation must be submitted showing that the proposed site meets the <br />standards of both the Federal Aviation Ageney Aclminisiraiio , and the North <br />Carolina Department of Transportation. feF the use pFepesed. <br />Nene <br />e, Setback, buffer yard, fencing and parking requirements appropriate to the specific <br />nature of the use proposed will be established +R during the conditional use permit <br />process and approved by the Board of Adjustment. In no case, however, shall the <br />minimum level buffer between the proposed project and adjacent residentially used <br />or zoned properties be less than a Level Two buffer yard. <br />f. The number, size, weight and type of aircraft may be limited in the Conditional Use <br />Permit if required for public safety and welfare. <br />3.
