These tax relief programs are prominently
displayed on Cabarrus County's website, recommended by Social Services, nonprofit
agencies and the Cabarrus County Aging Department. Citizens may visit the offices at
any time to learn how to obtain reductions that may be available to them.
Additionally, Cabarrus County provides opportunities to persons with back taxes to
establish payment plans that are affordable and appropriate for their income. There is
also an appeals process beyond meeting with the Tax Assessor with the Board of
Equalization and Review.
