3. Visitability in Housing <br />Visitability in housing is a trend toward universal design. Universal design is being <br />promoted with local housing nonprofits and government agencies who produce housing. <br />Cabarrus County does not produce housing for sale, however, most homes that undergo <br />full housing rehabilitation receive many accessibility upgrades such as wheelchair ramps. <br />D. Where there is a determination of unlawful segregation or <br />other housing discrimination by a court or a finding of <br />noncompliance by HUD under Title VI of the Civil Rights <br />Act of 1964 or Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, <br />or where the Secretary has issued a charge under the Fair <br />Housing Act regarding assisted housing with a recipient's <br />jurisdiction, an analysis of the actions which could have <br />been taken by the recipient to help remedy the <br />discriminatory condition, including actions involving the <br />expenditure of funds by the jurisdiction. <br />None found. <br />301Page <br />Analysis of Impediments March 2011 <br />Attachment number 1 <br />F -1 Page 80 <br />
