CABARRUS COUNTY FIRE PROTECTION STUDY <br />10. Reviewed county -wide SOPS in volunteer and paid/volunteer staffed fire, <br />rescue and EMS agencies and recommended enhancements to improve <br />effectiveness; <br />11. Assessed emergency preparedness and developed emergency preparedness <br />plans for cities and counties; and, <br />12. Assessed and made recommendations related to fire prevention inspections, <br />codes and programs. <br />Why Select PSSi <br />There are a number of reasons why Public Safety Solutions, Inc. should be selected by <br />Cabarrus County for this important assessment of the current f ire protection delivery system. <br />These include; <br />A. The outstanding qualifications of the PSSi Study Team; <br />B. The knowledge and experience of Study Team members with North Carolina <br />and Cabarrus County including a Study Team member who is the Fire Chief <br />of Greenville in Pitt County and a Study Team member who lives and provides <br />services in Union County; <br />C. The PSSi StudyTeam members have extensive experience as service providers <br />and managers in county fire, rescue and EMS services delivery systems; <br />D. All of the PSSi Study Team members have experience as volunteer and <br />paidlcarecr service providers in a county fire, rescue and EMS delivery system; <br />E. PSSi Study Team members have assessed more than 30 county fire, rescue and <br />EMS services delivery systems; <br />F.
