available, and render a decision no sooner than the day following the decision not to conduct the <br />conference and no later than five working days from the decision not to conduct the conference is <br />made. If the management representative determines that a disciplinary action is justified, he or she <br />shall present the employee with a letter notifying the employee of the action. However, the <br />management representative may elect to refer the action, reconsider the entire issue, or initiate a <br />disciplinary action less severe than recommended. <br />The employee must be given written notice of any disciplinary action. The management representative <br />responsible for the final decision shall issue the written notice to include the specific reasens or <br />omissions that are the basis of -fer the action and the employee's right of appeal. <br />Article X. Personnel Records and Reports <br />Section 1. Personnel Records Maintenance <br />Such personnel records as are necessary for the proper administration of the personnel system will be <br />maintained by the Human Resources Director. The County shall maintain in personnel records only <br />information that is relevant to accomplishing personnel administration purposes. <br />The following information on each County employee shall be maintained: <br />1. Name; <br />2. Age; <br />3. Date of original employment or appointment to County service; <br />4. The terms of any written or oral employment contract in the County's possession; <br />5. Current position1 <br />6_tTitle; <br />67. Current salary; <br />-78. Date and amount of most r -eeent ach increase or decrease in salary; <br />$9. Date and type of fne st ach promotion, demotion, transfer, suspension, separation, or other <br />change in position classification; a*d <br />10. Date and general description of the reasons for each promotion; <br />11. Date and type of each dismissal, suspension, or demotion for disciplinary reasons. If the <br />disciplinary action was a dismissal, a copy of the written notice of the final decision that includes <br />the specific acts or omissions that are the basis of the dismissal. <br />912.
