IV. DIRECTION AND CONTROL <br />A. When notified of an emergency situation, the General Services Director will determine <br />the county resources required for the response and alert appropriate personnel. <br />B. The Director, General Services will operate initially from the EOC and is assigned <br />to the Resource Group. The landfill supervisor will control disposal operations at that <br />site. <br />C. The Director, General Services will control maintenance activities during <br />emergencies. He will maintain direct communication with maintenance and other repair <br />teams at all times. <br />D. The senior General Services supervisor or the individual designated by the <br />Director, General Services will coordinate control of on -site maintenance and debris <br />removal. Within local municipalities, the director of public works will assume control of <br />these operations. The NCDOT county road supervisor will control debris removal on <br />state roadways. <br />V.
