I'~ment <br />Paymeizt will be made by the County to the Contractor within thirty days after <br />receipt of invoices for materials an or Iabox and that have been performed <br />to the satisfaction of the County. <br />Reimbursable F,xpenses <br />No reimbursable expenses will be incurred without the prior written approval of <br />the County and the issuance of a purchase order detailing the specific expenses <br />expected to be incurred by the Contractor and their estimated amount. <br />GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS: <br />Applicable Law: The contract shall be governed in all respects by the laws of <br />North Carolina, any litigation with respect thereto shall be brought izt the courts <br />of Cabarzus County, North Carolina. The Contractor shall comply with <br />applicable Federal, State and i,ocal laws and regulations. <br />Assignment: The Contractor shall not assign, transfer, convey, sublet, or <br />otherr+vise dispose of any award or any or ali of its rights, title, or interest therein, <br />without the prior written consent of the County. <br />Change in Scope of Vlfork: The County may order changes in the scope of <br />work consisting of additions, deletions, or other revisions within the general <br />scope of the contr•ack. No claims may be made by the Contractor that the scope of <br />the project or the Contractor's services has been changed, requiring changes to <br />the amount of compensation to the Contractor or other adjustments to the <br />contract, unless such changes or adjushnents have been made by written <br />amendment to the contract signed by the County and the Contractor. <br />If the Contractor believes that any particular work is not within the scope of the <br />project, is a material change, or will otherwise require more compensation to the <br />Contractor, the Contractor must immediafiely notify the County in writing of this <br />belief. if the County believes that the particular work is within the scope of the <br />contract as written, the Contractor will be expected to and shall continue with the <br />. <br />work as changed and at the cost stated far the work within the scope. <br />Contractor Personnel; The County shall, throughout the life of the contract, <br />have the right of reasonable refection and approval of staff or subcontractors <br />assigned to the work by the Contractor.
