Concept <br />should be based on information from NCDOT to determine the requirements. <br />• Updated Issues List and Schedule. <br />• List of ail permits required. <br />Upon submittal of preliminary design deliverables, CONSULTANT will make a formal presentation to <br />OWNER to accompf ish the following: <br />• Review preliminary designs for comments and additional input. <br />• Review Cost Estimate and Budget to determine Construction Phasing, Scope and to make Value <br />Engineering decisions. <br />• Review utility requirements and costs, including fees required by City of Concord Utilities <br />Department. <br />• Review architectural footprints and cost. <br />• Evaluate grading and clearing limits and costs. <br />• Resolve outstanding issues raised by OWNER and/or CONSULTANT. <br />• Review preliminary details of options and cost projections for unique items. Identify locations <br />for geotechnical borings Contractor required to determine depth of rock, water table, soil <br />conditions and foundation design parameters. <br />• Discuss and present any other plans or information necessary to communicate the design. <br />Design Development <br />Upon approval and acceptance by OWNER of the preliminary design plan, proposed staging and <br />finalized budget, Products of Design Development: <br />• Revised site layout plan. <br />• Typical site construction details. <br />• Architectural footprint(s) plans and elevations, including MEP. <br />• Preliminary grading and drainage layout. <br />• Site clearing limits layout. <br />• Utility routing plans and details. <br />• Site lighting details and layout. <br />• Proposed erosion control measures. <br />• Materials list, samples and descriptions. <br />• Preliminary landscaping and planting plan. <br />• Hydrological study, and storm water and NPDES compliance details. <br />• Outline of specifications required. <br />• Playground layout and equipment. <br />• Proposed improvements to the intersection of Park Entrance Road and Wallace Road. <br />• Updated itemized cost estimate using a 15% contingency. <br />• Special plans and details for all unique elements. <br />• Updated Issues List and Schedule. <br />• All other plans and details necessary to convey design. <br />CONSULTANT shall present the Design Development package to OWNER in a formal presentation to <br />receive input and final decisions on design and budget. <br />A-7 <br />Cab~~achCm°Oent number 3 <br />G-9 Page 537 of 627 <br />
