Bidding Phase <br />Products of the Bidding Phase: <br />• Recommend and review fist of Contractors. <br />• Conduct Pre-Bid Conference. <br />• Respond to clarification questions. <br />• Evaluate and submit addendum. <br />• Conduct the Bid Opening. <br />• Review and evaluate the bids with the assistance of OWNER's Project Manager. <br />• If requested by OWNER, provide Value Engineering of the bids to achieve budget. <br />Construction Administration <br />CONSULTANT will represent the OWNER's Project Manager and Program Management team in <br />working with the selected Contractor, ensuring the designs are implemented properly, arranged in <br />logical sequence and in accordance with local practices. Products of Construction Administration: <br />• Provide deliverables of conformed documents stated below to OWNER. <br />• Conduct Pre-Construction meeting. <br />• Provide permit documents to Contractor as required. <br />• Provide to the Program Manager and Contractor a tabulation of ali submittal packages for <br />materials and/or equipment required by the specifications from the Contractor. <br />• On-site construction meetings (average of once a month minimum) by the appropriate discipline, <br />to assure compliance with plans and specifications. <br />• Coordinate with appropriate design discipline personnel as may be required, to attend monthly <br />site meetings. <br />• Provide digital grading plan to Contractor if requested. <br />Provide observation of Contractor's operations and work to determine compliance with plans and <br />specifications, quality of workmanship and progress including a written report to OWNER once a <br />week (at a minimum) until final acceptance of work. <br />• Clarification of Requests for Information from Contractor. <br />• Work with Contractor to make recommendations to resolve conflicts and problems that may arise <br />during the course of the project. <br />• Review shop drawings and other Contractor's submittals. <br />• Respond to Contractor's request for Change Orders, as requested by Project Manager, and assist in <br />evaluation of need. <br />• Review Contractor's applications for payment and submit to Project Manager. <br />• Provide survey, analysis and evaluation of all As-Built storm water detention ponds. <br />• Perform required survey and provide As-Built plans of all sanitary sewer 6" and waterlines 2" and <br />larger in diameter and submit to the City of Concord for approval and records. <br />• Develop, with the Program Manager, OWNER, and all disciplines, Final inspection punch list. <br />• After the first year of occupancy, a warranty inspection of all disciplines with OWNER and <br />Contractor. <br />A-9 <br />Cabadtl'ac~im~ntPnUPnber 3 <br />G-9 Page 539 of 627 <br />
