Murphy, GIRS-A ~ L M <br />Date: January 28, 2008 <br />Subject: Senior Center General Purpose Funding <br />The attached Agenda Request form, Contract and Budget Amendment represents the <br />Department of Aging's request to accept the amount of $16,404 from the North Carolina <br />Division of Aging and Adult Services and Centralina Area Agency on Aging. These funds <br />represent the annual NC Senior Center General Purpose allocation for Senior Centers that <br />have met the certification requirements of a "Center of Excellence". This allocation will be <br />used to update some of the computer equipment in the Senior Center Computer Lab, as well <br />as purchase materials and/or supplies to be utilized in Senior Center programs. <br />Thank you for your time and consideration.
