1 <br /> <br /> <br />1 <br />d. Develop emergency notification and warning procedures to alert the general <br />public to impending or existing emergency situations. <br />e. Receive and disseminate warning information and insure information <br />related to emergency situations is provided to emergency workers, key off cials, special <br />locations and the Emergency Operations Center. <br />g. Coordinate communications network with sui~•ounding counties and State <br />agencies. <br />h. Develop procedures for maintaining and restoring telephone and 911 <br />services during emergencies. Develop agreements to provide radio repair and <br />maintenance under emergency conditions. <br />i. Provide an alternate communications capability in the event the main system <br />fails. <br />j. Report to the Emergency Operations Center upon activation and provide <br />direction and control for communications operations. Notify all emergency services in the <br />county when the EOC is opened. <br />k. Provide for testing and exercising of the communications, warning, and <br />alerting systems on a monthly basis. <br />7. County Firc Marshal <br />a. Analyze fire potential and plan for coordination of structural f re f ghting <br />operations throughout the County. <br />b. Serve as a technical advisor to county agencies and county leadership on <br />potential hazards created by fires and hazardous materials accidents. <br />c. Develop mutual aid agreements between all county fire departments. <br />d. Prepare inventories of fire equipment and personnel. <br />e. Report to the county Emergency Operations Center upon activation. The <br />Fire Marshal is assigned to the Operations Group in EOC. Coordinate fire department <br />operations and activate mutual aid agreements with surrounding counties or <br />municipalities as needed.
