g. Provide personnel trained to support Red Cross shelter operations. Be <br />prepared to assist with sheltering, feeding, and in distributing supplies as needed. <br />h. Report to the County Emergency Operations Center upon activation. The <br />Director; DSS is assigned to the Coordination Group in EOC. <br />10. Department of Aging <br />a. Prepare department facilities for use as a special medical needs shelter. <br />b. Provide personnel trained to support special medical needs shelter <br />operations. Be prepared to assist with sheltering, feeding, and in distributing supplies as <br />needed. <br />11. Cabarrus County General Services <br />a. Prepare for emergency repair of vital county facilities during emergency <br />operations. Organize and equip GSA teams to provide continuous maintenance and <br />repair support for all emergency vehicles and equipment. Direct debris clearance and <br />removal at county facilities. <br />b. Provide emergency power sources to key facilities and response operations. <br />Operate and maintain all fixed-site and mobile generators. Coordinate with the EOC for <br />the priority of issue for all portable generators. <br />c. Assist the Department of Social Services and the American Red Cross with <br />establishment and maintenance of shelters. Assist the Red Cross representatives in <br />marking shelter sites and routes to the shelters; as necessary, make temporary repairs at <br />the shelters to make them more habitable; maintain sanitary facilities at sites within the <br />county jurisdiction. <br />d. Conduct damage assessment at caunty government facilities. <br />e. Develop mutual aid agreements with the municipalities in the county to <br />provide auxiliary equipment if needed to conduct response and recovery operations. <br />f. Report to EOC upon activation. The GSA director is assigned to the <br />Resource Group <br />12. Parks Department <br />a. Be prepared to open park facilities as needed for response operations <br />(storage, equipment staging areas, etc.). <br />b.
