[]
the State of North Carolina. It is assumed that a suitable property survey meeting the
requirements of this Rule exists from previous surveying work. Also included will be
the following:
- area limits of ail solid waste management facilities and facility infrastructure,
including landfill units and buffer requirements set forth in 15A NCAC 13B .0544 (1);
- area limits of grading, including borrow and stockpile; and
- the physical features referenced in Rule 15A NCAC 13B .0536 (Location Restrictions).
^ Site Development Sheet 2 will contain the phases of development, which do not exceed
approximately five years of operating capacity.
^ Site Development Sheet 3 will contain proposed final contours for the C&D landfill unit
and facility feature for closure.
^ Landfill Operation Sheets 1-5 will contain proposed transitional contours and
construction grading for the new phases.
Task 4.2 -Facility Report
CDM will prepare the Facility Report, which includes the following as required under Rule
.0537(e):
1. Waste Stream -This section will include a discussion of the characteristics of the waste
received at the facility and facility-specific management plans including:
^ the types of waste specified for disposal;
^ average yearly disposal rates and a representative daily rate;
^ the geographical area served by the facility;
^ procedures for segregated management at different on-site facilities; and
^ equipment requirements for operation of the C&D landfill unit.

2. Landfill Capacity -This section will contain an analysis of the landfill capacity and soil
resources which includes volumetric estimates of:
^ total operating capacity;
^ operating capacity for each phase of development;
^ in-place ratio of waste to soil;
^ available soil resources from on-site;
n
^ required quantities of soil for landfill construction, operation, and closure; and
^ the estimated operating life of all C&D landfill phases iun years.
b Item# 9
Attachment number 1
Page 90 of 185 i
F-5
