comprise the 95% design review submittal. <br />1. A tabulation shall be furnished showing a breakdown of the estimated project cost. <br />2. Upon receipt of comments from the County for the 95% design review submittal, CDM will <br />conform the construction documents to reflect the review comments. CDM will furnish final <br />copies to the County and obtain written approval prior to issuance of the documents to <br />Contractors for bidding. <br />3. Specifications shall be prepared for review purposes and shall be subdivided into sections <br />similar to Construction Specifications Institute standards. Review sets shall be complete <br />with all forms and documents. <br />4. General Conditions of the Contract will be furnished by the County for use as a guideline in <br />preparing Supplemental General Conditions for the Project. <br />5. Supplemental General Conditions shall be prepared and shall include, but not be limited to, <br />the following: <br />a. Specific definitions and conditions specific to the Project. <br />b. Time of completion and liquidated damages. Liquidated damages shall be reasonably <br />estimated to be actual loss to the County due to fallure of the Contractor to complete the <br />Project on time. <br />c. Deletions from and additions to the Project General Conditions. <br />d. Any special requirements by governmental agencies having jurisdiction over the Project. <br />e. Description of alternate bids (as applicable). <br />f. List of drawings. <br />g. Applicable safety;regulations. <br />h. Cabarrus County Minority Business Enterprise requirements and forms (as applicable). <br />i. Insurance requirements approved by the County's Risk Manager. <br />6. Field and laboratory testing of compacted soils, liner materials, piping, concrete, and other <br />items specific to the design shall be identified fn the construction contracts. All such tests <br />shall be conducted by a qualified independent laboratory in accordance with ASTM <br />specifications under contract.with the Engineer. No testing services are included under this <br />amendment. <br />7. The date for receipt of bids shall be established in consultation with the County. Generally, a <br />period of four to six weeks will be required between publication of the Notice to Bidders and <br />the receipt of bids. Advertisement costs shall be the responsibility of Cabarrus County. <br />8. CDM will file all required documents for the approval of goverrunental authorities having <br />jurisdiction over the Project prior to issuing bidding documents to Contractors, provide the <br />County with a list of;any permit fees to be paid by the County, and provide the County with <br />written approval from all such authorities. <br />9.
