" y <br />SUBJECT: <br />Proclamation -Winner of the Charlotte Observer Regional Spelling Bee and Semifinalist of <br />the Scripps National Spelling Bee <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />Gideon Whaley, an eighth-grade student at C.C. Griffin Middle School, won the Charlotte <br />Observer Regional Spelling Bee and advanced to the semifinals of the Scripps National <br />Spelling Bee.
