<br />The total cost to redesign/construct the gymnasium expansion (of additional ten feet in <br />length - 76 feet) at Pitts School Road Elementary was $77,600. Cabarrus County <br />School staff has projected enlargement of the gymnasiums could cost in the range from <br />$75,000 to $125,000 per school for a total of $150,000 to $250,000 for both schools. <br />Actual cost will be determined after bids for the two schools are opened on February 15, <br />2006 and costs will be determined with the overall low bidder with requested <br />gymnasium modifications. <br /> <br />On J.anuary 31, 2006, the Cabarrus County Parks and Recreation Commission <br />approved and recommended for these two gymnasiums be modified for community <br />utilization. <br /> <br />If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
