As an alternative to renovations, provide further cost estimate for demolition of the entire existing facility, including buildings, paving and ballfields to provide a "clean slate" for future development or the construction of a new facility to serve the above uses. COMPENSA TION Based upon an estimated construction cost in the range of $3,500,000 to $4,000,000 YCH proposes to provide the above Scope of Work, for a lump sum fee of $55,000 (Fifty-Five Thousand Dollars) plus normal reimbursable printing and reproduction expenses to complete :the Schematic Design Phase of the project. Should the Owner elect to move forward with the project without significant ohanges to the Schematic Design, then the above fee (less reimbursable expenses) will be credited toward the final design contract. Should the Owner desire, an cost estimate provided by and independent professional cost estimator will be provided for a $2,500 reimbursable expense. . PROJECT EXCLUSIONS Our firm will provide the Scope of Services as outlined, but will not specifically be liable for the presence, exposure, or handling of hazardous materials. Our proposal does not include consulting services to perform hazardous materials review of the buildings or project site, including asbestos, lead paint, etc. It is assumed that the Owner will, however, contract Independently for further surveying and removal of all such materials from the buildings and property prior to any renovations or new construction.
