<br />Supervising Physician and Back-up Supervising Physician <br />o NEMC will provide Cabarrus County two experienced physicians to <br />oversee ti)e provider(s) at the Employee Health Clinic. (See Exhibit A). <br />These board certified physicians will be able to give needed support to the <br />Nurse Practitioner regarding work related injuries and wellness initiatives. <br />In addition, these physicians will be able to give clinical guidance for both <br />adult and pediatric patients. <br /> <br />o The Supervising Physician for the Cabarrus County <br />Employee Health Clinic will be Marc Dy, M.D. Dr. <br />Dy is Board Certified in Family Medicine and is the <br />Medical Director at Midland Family Medicine. <br />Having a family medicine physician in the role of <br />Supervising Physician is an added benefit so that the <br />entire family can receive care at this facility. In <br />addition, Dr. Dy has special training in occupational <br />medicine and oversees this component of healthcare at <br />Midland Family Medicine. <br /> <br /> <br />Marc Dy. MD <br /> <br />o The Back-up Supervising Physician for the Cabarrus <br />County Employee Health Clinic will be Steven St. <br />Clair, M.D. Dr. St. Clair is Board Certified in <br />OccupatiQnal Medicine and has been part of <br />NorthEast Medical Center and Cabarrus County for <br />many yell1's. His experience with work related <br />injuries and health assessments in the business setting <br />is extrem~ly invaluable. <br /> <br /> <br />Steven St. Clair, MD <br /> <br />. Medical Equipment and Supplies <br />o By choosing NEMC to operate its Employee Health Clinic, Cabarrus <br />County ~ill greatly benefit financially. Through its affiliation with VHA, a <br />group Pllrchasing organization, NEMC is able to purchase clinical <br />equipment and supplies at a reduced rate. <br /> <br />NEMC will provide all clinical equipment related to the care of the <br />employee / patient. This will include (but not limited to) exam table(s), <br />otoscope(s) and ophthalmoscope(s), sharps container(s) and medical waste <br />container(s), mayo stand(s), provider stool(s), blood pressure cuffts), patient <br />scales to check weight, thermometers, and an EKG machine. By utilizing <br />NEMC's, Clinical Equipment Department, NEMC will maintain this <br />equipment and will ensure that it is suitable for patient care.
