One major issue will be emphasized for citizens to call local law enforcement to report
any emergency or suspiqious activity; however, encourage them not to take action
personally to stop the inqividuals.

On any safety or mainte~ance concerns, citizens will be requested to call the Park
Office on these issues. The current plan is to implement this program in the three
County operated parks; Ifrank Liske Park, North Cabarrus Park and Camp T.N. Spencer
Park. Officials from the Cabarrus County Schools, Cities of Kannapolis and Concord
have also expressed their interest in this program.

On Thursday, April 21, 2005, the Cabarrus County Parks and Recreation Commission
formally approved the implementation of the Park Watch Program in the three County
operated parks.

If you have any question~, please feel free to contact me.

'"

f=-;J.o
