<br />SERVICE AGREEMENT <br />FOR <br />NQRTH CAROLINA SPECIAL OLYMPICS <br />IN C}\BARRUS COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT,! effective July 1,2005 between Cabarrus County Schools <br />("Schools"), whose m~1ing address is Post Office Box 388, Concord, North Carolina <br />28026-0388, and Cabarius County, North Carolina, a political subdivision of the State of <br />North Carolina (herein known as the "County") whose mailing address is Post Office <br />Box 707, Concord, Noqh Carolina 28026-0707. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the partie$ have a common interest in the North Carolina Special Olympics <br />for the County resident~ (hereafter the "Program") and the health and well being of the <br />exceptional population Of the County; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the parties desire to provide for the continued administration of the. <br />Program throughout the County; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises and other good and valuable <br />consideration, the parti~s hereby agree to the following terms and conditions: <br /> <br />I. Administrat\Qn of Pro gram. The Program will be administered by the <br />Schools. <br /> <br />2. Term. The term of this Agreement is five (5) years beginning July 1, 2005 <br />and ending June 30, 2010. The parties may renew this agreement for a five <br />(5) year peripd beginning July 1, 2010, upon notification in writing by either <br />party to the $ther by May 1, 2010. Terms of any renewal will be agreed and <br />entered into h the fifteenth day of June 2010. <br />I <br /> <br />COUNTY OBLIGATIONS <br /> <br />1. Records. Tlje County will provide the Schools with the support needed to <br />maintain recOrds for the Program. <br />. <br />I <br />2. Advertisin .IThe County will allow the Schools access to certain Program <br />advertising ehicles reasonably available to the County, including providing <br />access to th~ County governmental access channel (currently Channel 22 on <br />Time Warn~ Cable). <br /> <br />F. ~.~ <br />
