<br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br /> <br />Meeting Date 5/23/05 <br /> <br />Agenda Item # <br /> <br />E-+ <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br />Christenbury Land Investments, LLC Consent Agreement Review <br /> <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br /> <br />The Christenbury Consent Agreement is for a mixed use development approved by the <br />City of Concord. Portions of this project have been previously reviewed by the Board of <br />Commissioners as it includes the Christenbury Parkway which Cabarrus County is jointly <br />constructing with NCDOT, Rhein Interests and the property owner, Christenbury Farms <br />Inc. A memorandum summarizing the issues is attached as are the minutes from the BOC <br />meeting approving additional road construction money being credited to the adequacy <br />donation, a time line for the mixed use project, and a summary of the road project. <br /> <br />REQUESTED ACTION: (Suggested motion if the Board approves the agenda item as presented) <br />Consider approval of the Consent Agreement with language consistent with the previous <br />Board action, and authorize the County Manager to execute on behalf of Cabarrus County. <br />Findings of fact are recommended for this approval. <br /> <br />Attachments ~ Yes D No Expected Length of Presentation 20 minutes <br /> <br />Submitted By: Jonathan B.
