'16

people that needed space would not have to drive all the way into Charlotte. Mr.
Misenheimer said he wanted to build something a little more up scale than he
had at the other park. He said the other park has been tremendously successful.

Mr. Griffin asked Mr. Misenheimer if he intend to do that on the part that he is
not asking to be rezoned. He said he is saying that the concrete plant is for his
own use and he is not going to have trains of huge cement trucks running in and
out to use his plant.

Mr. Misenheimer said on the old original part it had a concrete plant on the front
of it, but he did not realize that at the bottom of it that was a different zoning.
He said he does not need an asphalt plant because there is one two miles up the
street. But, the concrete plant, there is a need. Mr. Misenheimer said his intent
at this point is basically to do his thing there. He said he thought he had the
zoning so he went and bought a concrete plant and he moved the plant in.
When he went to talk about getting a permit to put it up he was told he was not
in the proper zoning. He said he does not want to offend anybody or cause any
hardship. If there is a problem anybody sees come see him and he is willing to
discuss it or change it.

The Chair asked how many trucks does he have.

Mr. Misenheimer said he have two trucks.

Mr. Moore said to Mr. Miseheimer that he is saying this is non commercial just
for his own use. .

Mr. Misenheimer said as he was saying earlier at this point no.

Mr. Moore asked Mr. Misenheimer to briefly explain the process that is involved
with washing out chemicals.

Mr. Misenheimer said the process he like best when you wash out is you have a
pit that you back the truck in and wash it out. The concrete that they have left
on the truck they would put it into a block so it can be used later and not
wasted.

The Chair asked what is he going to do with that 30 foot buffer.

Mr. Misenheimer said he would put in evergreen plant, some pine trees and
something there that would be a natural buffer.

The Chair asked if he was going to buffer the front portion from his industrial
tract.

',j

G~S
