<br />'17 <br /> <br />Mr. Misenheimer said h'e think that would defeat the purpose because there is a <br />street there. He said he has a five acre tract and by the time you cut all this off <br />he is just going to have a small area that is usable. <br /> <br />Mr. Lentz said he would recommend to Mr. Misenheimer that we would remove <br />the demolition landfill ~nder conditional use, which is the more than one acre <br />and that we would add: it under permitted based on standards. That would meet <br />the need that he haq, which was to put the stumps in the pit. He said <br />recommendation to staff will be to remove the one under conditional listing and <br />add the demolition lanql fill one acre or less under the heading permitted based <br />on standards. <br /> <br />The Chair opened the P:ublic Hearing on Petition COS-02(R CU). <br /> <br />Mr. W.e. Isenhour, Retired General Contractor addressed the Board stating he <br />owns 137 acres around the property In. question. He said the concrete plant <br />does not exactly work the way they have been hearing it. Mr. Isenhour sClid he <br />would hate to see this come up because the people around there are going to <br />ruin the property owners' property: <br /> <br />Mr. Larry Williams add~essed the Board stating he is here tonight on behalf of <br />Mary Abernathy becaljse she owns the land on the northwest side of the <br />property. He said Ms.i Abernathy said she is opposed to any heavy industrial <br />because of the dust, the noise and the runoff. Mr. Williams said he told her that <br />he wouid convey it to the Board. He said he lives four lots over from it and he <br />does not like a whole Iqt of noise and dust himself. He said he is not opposed to <br />what Mr. Misenheimer [is doing he is just concerned about the noise and dust <br />more than anything els,. <br /> <br />Mr. Chris Hunter, Prop~rty Owner addressed the Board stating he does not have <br />to say the obvious theiBoard knows it is going to destroy their property value. <br />He said if the Board i~ considering this seriously, he would like time to get a <br />feasibility study done. Mr. Hunter said he would ask the Board for 30 days to get <br />the feasibility study. <br /> <br />Mr. Starnes asked Mr.! Hunter if he had any present evidence of the property <br />devaluation. [ <br /> <br />~ .~ ~"'-~-~-' - <br />Mr. Hunter said he is not asking for an opinion, he is asking for evidence. <br /> <br />......~..:::' <br /> <br />:. <br /> <br />Mr. Griffin said he needs to understand to start with, the Board is not allowed to <br />give any weight to any~ody who is not a qualified expert when they testify about <br />something. . <br /> <br />C,..5 <br />
