i
Planning and Zoning (:ommlssion Minutes
Aorll 21. 2005 '

Page 28

Ms. Burns said to Mr.: Misenheimer that some panels can be very large, they are
very heavy and they require specialized equipment to move. She asked if that is
going to be the case. i

i
Mr. Misenheimer saidithat's not basically the case. What he wants to do is like a
house. The panels \'fould have to be smaller enough to put on a truck and be
trucked from there. They will probably be 10 or 12 feet at the maximum maybe
12 to 20 feet long.

Ms. Burns said with ~reat respect the first time he came before the board you
said that there mightlbe an occasionally concrete truck coming In and out of his
establishment. Now ~e are looking at tractor trailers It will require flatbeds to
move these panels in land out.

Mr. Misenheimer said you are probably looking at 2 to 3 years down the road
maybe longer than tHat because they want to build out this industrial park first.
T, hen we would have la plant there that we could use to build the panels at that
time. He said he doe~ not like to build something that only has one use.
r .
I
The Chair said one thing that concerns him is he would like for Mr. Misenheimer
to kind of streamline the uses, what he Is going to do with It, how big he wants it
to grow, that type of ~hlng before you came to this board.

Mr. Misenheimer saidl the building is probably 14 feet by 30 feet and the silo
there is another 20 tOl25 feet out to the silo.

The Chair said we ar$ talking rezoning five acres and it sounds like he has big
plans for these five acres.
!
Mr. Misenheimer said he had thought that the acre was all he needed, but when
he talked with the zO~ing people they discussed how much to do and he came
up with the five acresi,". because of the set backs. He said he has 32 acres there,
but he Is not going 0 be the only business there. Mr. Misenheimer said he
wants to build some . Ing that is nice for the whole community. He said he
thinks that if he bull s this development the way he is thinking there will be
another two or three ,undred people working there and he certainly needs to be
able to use the corycrete to make these buildings more affordable. Mr.
Misenheimer said if he has to go to concrete supply and pay two times the value
,
of the concrete so he 4:an build his building It is going to eliminate a lot of what
,
I
i
i
I
i
i
,
,

&.5
