Due to an error, the Office of the State
Fire Marshal had dissolved the entire Pitts Fire District. The Office of the State Fire Marshal is requesting
that the Board of Commissioners designate this remaining area as the "Concord Rural Fire Protection
District". Under the terms of the 1991 contract, a fire tax will not be levied on this area.

Attached you will fred a copy of the 1991 agreement, an updated map of the remaining Pitts Fire District,
and a Resolution for consideration. It is respectfully requested that you enact this resolution to designate
this area as the "Concord Rural Fire Protection District".

Cabarms County. 65 Church Street, SE..
