assist C2 efforts. Obtain stocks of food, water, and other equipment necessary for the <br />effective operation of the Emergency Operations Center/Staff. Coordinate the use of the <br />Sheriff's Department kitchen to feed EOC personnel during emergencies. <br /> <br /> (5) Develop communications and information technology systems to provide <br />primary and secondary communications systems to the EOC staff. (both fixed and mobile, <br />if used). Develop and implement a system to manage information during emergencies <br />(including internal messages) and to disseminate it to other levels of government and non- <br />government organizations. <br /> <br /> (6) Train Emergency Management personnel in all aspects of their duties and <br />provide training opportunities to all personnel for professional development within their <br />assigned areas of responsibility. <br /> <br /> (7) Develop a reserve of trained radiological monitors to support radiological <br />tracking operations within the county. <br /> <br /> (8) Identify those personnel and agencies required to support emergency <br />response operations. Develop alert rosters of key county and city/town personnel that will <br />be notified and called to duty during emergencies. <br /> <br /> (9) Develop and maintain mutual aid agreements with local municipalities <br />and neighboring jurisdictions to support county emergency operations. <br /> <br /> (10) Analyze personnel and equipment requirements to meet potential <br />hazards. Create and maintain a current inventory of available resources and facilities in <br />the County that could be used to support county emergency operations. This will include <br />government and non-government assets that may be called in to assist county efforts. <br /> <br /> (11) Identify and arrange the survey of potential shelter locations within <br />Cabarrus County. Include any sites that could house special needs and institutionalized <br />populations as well as the general public. <br /> <br /> (12) Identify potential evacuation areas using the County's hazard analysis. <br /> Develop warning and evacuation procedures and exit routes. Include plans for the <br />relocation of county residents into other jurisdictions. <br /> <br /> (13) Identify special needs populations or groups that will require assistance <br />during an evacuation. Verify that any institutions housing special needs populations have <br />written evacuation and relocation procedures on hand. <br /> <br /> (14) Develop a schedule to test and maintain the Emergency Operations <br />Center facility and other emergency equipment. <br /> (15) Coordinate exercises to test the emergency plans within the jurisdiction. <br /> <br /> c.
