CABARRUS COUNTY EMERGENCY OPERATIONS PLAN <br />ANNEX N <br /> RESOURCE MANAGEMENT <br /> <br />I. PURPOSE <br /> <br /> This annex descri$¢s the system to identify, locate, and acquire resources for emergency <br />response operations Within the County. <br /> <br />II. SITUATION AND ASSUMPTIONS <br /> <br />A. Situation <br /> <br /> 1. Cabarms C.~unty has many public and private resources available for emergency <br />response operations. <br /> <br /> 2. Each city/t0wn within Cabarrus County has resources available for emergency <br />response operations. These jurisdictions may respond to requests for assistance when there <br />is not a direct impact tm them during an emergency situation. <br /> <br /> B. Assumptions.~-The required <br />response and recovery operations. <br /> <br />resources will be on-hand or available to support <br /> <br />IlL CONCEPT OF OPERATION <br /> <br /> A. County departments and agencies will use and control their own resources and <br />equipment during resl~onse and recovery operations. Municipal departments and agencies <br />will use and control i their resources and equipment during emergencies. Use of these <br />resources outside the ilacorporated limits will be by request from other municipalities or from <br />the Cabarrus County Emergency Management Coordinator. <br /> <br /> B. The Finance Director will develop procedures to expedite the purchase of expendable <br />supplies during emerSency situations. He will train those Finance Department personnel <br />assigned to the EOC ~ handle requests from the Emergency Management Coordinator and <br />provide the necessary equipment and supplies to process requests. <br /> <br /> C. The Emergen~ Management Coordinator will maintain a resource manual. This <br />manual will identify the resource, the responsible agency and the procedures to obtain that <br />resource during an emergency situation. <br /> <br />D.
