B. <br /> Request for Proposals <br /> D;rJDP Continuation Funding FY 2003-2004 <br /> <br /> Cabarrus _._ $317,206 02/07/03 <br /> County ~ County Allocation Date Advemsed <br /> 1 <br />The use of DJJDP Funds requir~ a local match of 30 % <br /> <br />The Juvenile Crime Prevention~ouncil having studied the needs of youth ~n Cabarms County <br />hereby publishes th~s Request f{r Proposals. <br />Department of Juvenile Justice [nd Dehnquency Prevention (DJJDP) funds in the above stated amount will be available for <br />programs serving delinquent an[l at-risk youth for the state fiscal year 2003-2004 beginning on, or after, July 1, 2003. The <br />programs should address the fo~owing risk factors identified by the JCPC. <br /> 1 <br /> <br />Family management problems <br />Early and persistent behavior pi bblems in school <br /> <br />Family conflict and disrupnon <br /> <br />The Programs should address ol <br />skill- building, opportunities, <br />Factors offer protection agmnst <br /> <br />Based on the JCPC planning pn <br />to be the following: <br /> <br />e or more of the following Protective Factors to provide programming that allows youth <br />!ecognition and bonding that promotes healthy beliefs and clear standards.
