Meeting Date <br /> <br /> CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br /> <br />Agenda Item <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br />Discussion of the Proposed Interlocal Agreement for the Convention Center with the <br />Concord City Council <br /> <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />On July 28, the Board of Commissioners and the Concord City Council discussed the <br />proposal that the Board allocate approximately $700,000 to $800,000 annually from <br />occupancy tax proceeds to the City of Concord to pay one-half the debt service on a <br />convention center.
