Mission Statement

The mission of the NC TASC network is to access quality services for drug involved and
mentally ill offenders. TASC combines the influence of legal sanctions with recommended
levels of care to permanently interrupt the vicious cycle of addiction and criminality.

TASC provides an objective and effective bridge between two separate institutions--justice and
treatment--and reflects the community's concern for public safety. This is done by the on-going
assessment of the offender's needs and placement to meet those needs. The process of care
management is continuous and includes on-going communication and reporting to the criminal
justice program/probation. TASC staff for Cabarms County are Felicia Campbell and Steven
Williams

TASC began their program in Cabarms County in October 2001.
